any naked go go bars in US with male dancers

Several friends have returned from Montreal and had lots of stories about the naked dancers in the bars. They stated that except for a few bars in New Orleans they had seen no full male nudity in gay bars and clubs.

This was rejected by my trolly dolly friend who claims although he has never been there, that Portland is the most way out city in the US and full frontal and full erect dancers quite common.

My next trip to the US will probably include Palm Springs which I thought was rather raunchy.

How do Palm Springs and Portland compare with each other and with Montreal. Not interested in the scenery just the eye candy and how much is on display.

Yeah Montreal is great but now that they have upgraded from play money, not as much fun.

Washington DC used to have such bars but the land where those bars where at was used for the new baseball stadium. I don't know about now.

I was checking out this forum and thought I'd update this list for those who like naked strippers in the US.

They are rare but they do exist in odd cities. I don't think there are any in any of the major metros i.e. NYC, LA or Chicago. You will find stripper bars in these cities but full nudity is not permitted, but the dancer will always flash someone with dollar bills in hand.

Fort Lauderdale - USED to have one of the best naked stripper bars ever, CUPIDS, but it's gone. They have 3 or 4 stripper bars left but no nudity. Go down to Key West and they still have KWEST with full on nudity and never a cover. They will hustle you to death for a lap dance. Most of the dancers are straightish Eastern Europeans.

Portland, Oregon - indeed has one of the most fun full nude gay strip bars I've been in. Silverados. For an extra $10 you get to sit in the "VIP" area and dancers will do private shows as well. Very fun and down to Earth.

St Louis, MO! One of the best, about 20 minutes outside the city. I was in St Louis on Business on a Tuesday night and was literally the only customer in the bar. The manager made the boys put on the full show for me. Great looking corn fed midwest boys here.

Atlanta - Swinging Richards - the full monty. More like Montreal bars

Wash DC - Strip bar was closed and just re-opened.

New Orleans - Corner Pocket does not have full nude shows, but the boys on the bar could care less and will show you the goods and let you touch.

Palm Springs - Nada Zilch.

Los Angeles - You will find the occasional Friday or Saturday night where a struggling bar will bring in dancers but nothing nude.

San Francisco has the Famous Nob Hill Theater - HOWEVER it's a $30 cover. This is not a club or a bar, it's an actual theater with porn booths in the basement. If you don't tip the dancers they go a little psycho on your ass

NYC - Club 20/20 Male Strip club that has a gay night. HIGH cover charge - not worth it. Other wise, various bars that hire in dancers.

Dallas has a couple of strip bars but no nudity. Again, you have singles, they will let you take a peek but that's it.

Phoenix has a gay strip club, but haven't been there in years.

I have not been to Palm Springs in 10 years...
But I am sure there are still Gay Motels with a swimming pool that is "clothing optional".
If you meet up with a hot guy you have have him wander to your room and dance for you!!!

I agree, Portland seems to be the most gay open town. I have ever seen, I will say I saw almost nude but not so muh pure nudity that I saw and I was there a week. I went out every night and with the exception of the rule is Monday its a bit boring, However, it does have bookstores on every corner almost with glory holes and open doors for you to go in, if you like that kind of thing. Better there on Monday night than a bar.

I finally went to Silverado in Portland. www.silveradopdx.com (http://www.silveradopdx.com) I used to live in Montreal till 6 years ago, and I used to be familiar with their strip club scene.

I went on a Sat. night around 10. There was a cover charge of $3. None of male strip clubs in Montreal charged cover charges, but soon as you sit down, the waiter comes over to take order, so you're sort of obliged to buy a drink. Silverado seemed to be self serve. There weren't too many people inside when I got in, although the place was packed when I left after midnight.

Another difference with Montreal clubs was that I saw a lot of female customers at Silverado. In Montreal, I don't recall they banned women, but I've never seen any female customers there except on ladies' days on some clubs.

As in Beervana, Portland is often called, Silverado had good selection of local microbrews on tap for $4. While in Montreal, they didn't serve any microbrews on tap, and had poor selection on bottled beer. I'm guessing the distributor was giving pressure not to sell too much microbrews.

More than half of dancers at Silverado were twink types of various races, and others were well built. I haven't seen nor offered any private dances, but customers put 1-dollar bills inside of underwear. One of boys indeed told me he's bottom and love getting fucked, and I felt he's waiting for me to start talking about business, but I didn't have much time staying in Portland. In Montreal, boys aggressively come offer private dances for about $10 PER song (and boys are counting how many songs they've given private dances), and you can touch almost anywhere on them during that private dance. One of my friends didn't know this system, and staying there for more than 10 songs, and ended up paying more than $100!

After all, I found Silverado great place to go when I'm too far from Montreal. I love twink boys, and not all the strip clubs in N. America have that kind of boys. I've never been to Palm Springs, but I was surprised to hear others posted there's no strip clubs there.

This is all very interesting - but I'll wager that it's fairly irrelevant to many SGT members in Thailand.

You see, a percentage of the ones who aren't American would never get past US immigration checks.

And a percentage of the ones who are American, don't dare return!

Not that I'm OBSESSED or anything but just to add in again, the US's southern neighbor, Mexico surprisingly has some very liberal attitudes towards gay strip clubs. My last visit to Puerto Vallarta, there were two clubs with the fully monty. Anthropology (The study of man, of course) which has been around for sometime and is more like a Montreal club, but a little more intimate. There's usually no cover charge in the off season, but something like $5 during the winter. (Most of the gay hotels in town will have free passes though). They have a lot of beefy well endowed Mexican men dancing on the bar and they do aggressively pursue private dances and any other private business they think they can get.

New in town is WetDreams, where there is a shower behind the bar and a dancer spends about 10 minutes in there giving a show. Other scantily clad sides of beef are roaming around the club looking for private dances as well. No cover at this one.

Silverado in Portland is in no way as serious as anything in Montreal. It's good cheesy fun. Since they have no "back rooms" for private dances it takes alot of the pressure off, so you can just slip a buck in the guys underwear and be done with it.

I didn't like Antropology in Puerto Vallarta, because I like twink boys, and not into beefy guys. When I went there, all of them were beefy. Mexican guys or customer base at places like Antropology (mainly old gringos / farang) actually prefer beefy guys? Twink boys didn't seem to be very visible in Mexico. I went to Antropology before they got new non-smoking law, so windowless smokey room really turned me off as well.

I remember days of C$6 a dance when I first moved there almost 15 years ago....mmm good times. Escort rates (C$150-250) haven't changed that much during that period, making private dances poorer value, I'll stick with just 'watching'.
