I will be in BKK (mainly) from December 23 - January 8.

Interested to know which others from SGT will be about also, full-timers notwithstanding. It is a given that they will be here.

I realise jinks will be back again and even smiles may appear in BKK from Hua Hin all things being equal.

I have a ticket that says that I will fly to LOS on number 25 this month for a stay of 4 months.

So, ME! I will be there.

Not sure where my soul will be at end of this year, though.
BF wants stay in his village (perfect by me) around (Nong Bua Lam Phu).
If that is, for some reason, not possible we will stay at home (in Chun Buri).

But what I have learnt in my short Thailand experience: making plans will be useless, something will pop-up anyway.

Ariving 16th December and leaving 5th January.Love this time of year - UK as we speak is dark, cold, rainy and everybody on verge of depression! My last weekend in UK is a visit home to distribute presents and wish family glad tidings - then on Christmas day call them all as leaving the beach! As soon as I step off the plane and see the sunshine I smile smile smile :hello1:

Arriving 20th December and flying on to Chiang Mai on the 21st. Back to Bangkok on the 28th, provisionally in Pattaya until the 2nd Jan, when I fly back. High winds and cold rain all day today - never even got light properly. I can't wait!

No it is "Nong Khon" or "Non Khon" <= not sure how to spell it.
Its about 20-30 minutes with the motorbike away from Nong Bua Lam Phu
One has to slalom over of the road, because of the huge holes. Part dirt road.
On the way we pas-through 2 other small villages, but silly me I don't know their names :)

Nice house BTW. Is it yours?
The village I am going to has houses like this but mostly they are more "Village-Style"

I wish. No not mine. The shell was there and I paid for all the windows and finishing, furnishing and appliances after they were in.

Probably the less said about that particular story the better. Lets just say my very first Thai learning curve.

I tried that. 3 round trips around the world (I live half way around the world) in a year. Now I have decided that it would be good to go ahead and do it all at one time, rather than go through 10 days of jet lag, each time for each leg. (Whoops that cost 60 days).
So come and join us, when you can.
I was not bragging, just stating facts in my previous post.

Re-read. I said 10 days of jet lag for each leg of the trip. The trip takes much less time than 10 days, but the jet lag is 10 days.
Answer, of where, Washington, DC, USA and this time Gulfport, Mississippi, USA.
I stay in Pattaya but travel the length and breadth of the beautiful country.
