Australian TV network 9 announced as part of its 2011 new programs, Big Trouble in Tourist Thailand. A quick google shows it to be an 8 part UK Sky TV production.

How did the gay venues get treated and is this a beat up or a serious doco?

New programs??? This reminds me that you have to set your clock back by ONE YEAR when you land in Australia!

It was well reported, with links, on this forum. I guess the Great Firewall of Australia is blocking more of the outside world than I had at first been led to believe.

i watched every programme and you can see them on line. The gay scene was completely ignored.
(I do not consider katoeys etc as part of the gay scene).
The series is mildly entertaining.

I watched every episode and don't think gay venues were featured at all.

The episodes were all uploaded to YouTube but they may have been taken down as I can't find them anymore.
