Those that have broadband the term in my country, may show as being logged in as they have not turned off their computer.I rarely turn my computer off.

So when I do log on after rebooting, I remain logged to on to Sawatdee, even though I may never look at the site all day.If I do not shutdown for several days I might show as being logged in all that time.

Mine would be between 1 and 2 hours, but there is none to choose from. So maybe I do not count.
Thanks for adding. And now I see I was not the only one in this category.

I would like to say, in times past I spent a lot more time in the forums than now. Often the information is repetitive and sometimes, you just get tired of answering the same questions i.e. the "question".... how much for an off... has been beat to death. Much of this is archived and just a simple search is all you need to do. I would say that on my trips, I do investigate to see if things have changed at all but I tend to be more generous than most anyway. But that is not the only subject that is archived and should searched before a post. I think simple common sense thought before you post would tell you if you need to ask the forum in order to determine if it needs to be ask again.

However, some seem to chime in on the arguments again and again. So I would say much of this comes from too many years on the forum and a general lack of interest in what I have to say anyway.

I rarely log in, and even when I do to post something I immediately log out so my name does not often appear. I do spend 2 hours a day reading forums when home but less when in Thailand.

I have to be here and on good days the red pen is only in use for less than 1 hour.

When I was fascinated with Thailand I spent a lot of time on the boards. These days, not so much. Been there, done that. Now it is a effort to read the boards while trying to skip over the trolls and slap fights. Most times it's not worth the bother.

Now its social networks, technology blogs, music and porn that take up my internet time. :glasses7:

Ditto, that, my friend. Of course I need to monitor this board for the slap fights and such, but recreationally, I spend much more time on Twitter. There's no such thing as trolling on social networking sites. If you don't choose to follow/friend them, they don't exist. Also I'm still hooked on Youtube and becoming a regular on Second Life. SL is completely mind-blowing to me. It's like a group lucid dream.

"Actual" time spent reading/posting is less than an hour on normal days... If I'm taking a break at work it's usually a quick few minutes. If I'm watching TV or something else at home, it's kind of a multi-tasking thing that drags out. I don't get why people think I spend hours and hours when it's usually just a few two-line missives...

LOL... Right. So this bright old prune thinks you must be the ONLY gay farang guy living in Khon Kaen then. WTF indeed!

Where's soi LK? Why don't you meet up with the ogre to prove him wrong?

Same... my laptop never gets turned off. But I log out and exit this shit when I'm going into client meetings/presentations and such.
