I like The Bondi...they know how to "take care"...

I really enjoy The Bondi... :headbang:

I stop by many times each week...to The Bondi...

I appreciate the friendly welcome by the owners, :hello2:
their attentive hosts/waiter staff and..
there are many expats....both visitors and residents
to meet up and chat with...a real fine gathering place.

The Bondi at Jomtien Beach...Dongtan Beach walkway..
near the Police Box & 7-11...
offers house mixed drinks...including wine and many beers...
(Heinekin, Singha etc)...at 70 baht til 9pm every day...

It is one of my favorite places in Pattaya to visit...anytime

I believe that is a good value... :hello1:
with friendly waiters and new friends to meet.

http://www.bondipattaya.com/

Try their sandwiches too...very, very good!
at 100 baht for many varieties...with chips.

I especially like the ham salad sandwich...huge and filling

Also they serve their ALL Day American Breakfast 90 baht...
with eggs as you like them...coffee, tea and glass of iced water...
choice of white or a good brown bread toast with butter, jams...

Breakfast ALL Day is a nice change of pace ...even in the early evening.

The Bangkok Post is available to read with your drink or meal...
which I read most every day I stop into The Bondi.

Entertainment nightly from 9pm... :sharm:
a nice place to take your Thai friend..

And... Hotel Rooms are now on offer at 600 baht a night...
with FREE wireless :lam: in Bar.Cafe areas and Hotel too.

Thanks to all who make my visits to the Bondi enjoyable...
much appreciated... :notworthy:

I like the bar too everything you say is correct. The only thing I found was that mid afternoon the place fills up with loud drunken expats. On my last trip I went there a few times. A table of 10 or so were there led by one fat queen who was constantly boasting abouy how many millions she had. Realy loud for the whole bar to hear. The same crowd came almost every day.

Went there once for breakfast. Probably the worst breakfast I have had in Thailand. Never bothered to go back.

The Bondi is one of the nice new places. I attended a Wednesday night Bingo. Although winning a bingo game did not happen the servers joined me in the last game called in Thai. It was a most enjoyable evening and still had time to stop by Sunee after the Bingo. Not that the servers at other bars are not friendly but the Bondi guys do try to really make you welcome.

That's hardly the way for a newbie to make friends. Perhaps you would like to start a post with a little depth yourself?

Just my opinion.

Glad you said it was the Bondi - otherwise it could have been almost any beer bar in Sunee (I exclude Boyztown because almost the entire bloody place is shut during the day).

I have yet to see drunkards in The Bondi in the early afternoon; it's usually very sedate. Although,in the high season one might encounter some slightly inebriated souls. The waiters, especially the ever present Nop are most attentive and the coffee and food first class for a bar on the beach (as one of the owners likes to dub it).

yes, I agree with Jack .... def. more sedate than 'Saturday Night Fever' -- oops, showing my age!

I agree it is a nice place. The only bar in Jomtien I like to go and just sit listening to the music, have a drink, talk with people and relax. Thanks, guys, for offering such a good place. I will certainly be back during my next Thailand visit.

They have added a glass of orange juice... :headbang:
and a slice of ham to go along with the 2 bacon slices...

Along with two eggs as you like...toast, butter & jam...
to each breakfast served...

With Mocador Coffee..or Tea...plus a glass of ice water,,,

All for still 90 Baht!
served ALL DAY...

Thanks Bondi...and special thanks to their cute waiters... :love4:

This place is very good must admit, love the sandwiches they have to offer etc. Breakfast - well you can't beat a place I go in Pattaya, it is good quality and no crap and for certain reasonably priced - where is it - well I ain't gonna tell you - I don't want it frequented by drunken crowds and that fat man someone was on about. Its my secret. Nur nur nur.

Oh Gee...Bingo on Wednesday nights, now I'm really excited.

Agree Jim, Bondi's is a fun afternoon stop-over, but you guys should stroll over to the Plaza and have breakfast at Two Faces...the best in Pattaya...IMO.

Cheers
