Not sure, but many here may not really be welcomed at all on GayButton's forum. He moderates his board and doesn't want some of the rude, non informative posters that are prevalent on this Board. However, those that are interested in what is going on in Thailand and the gay venues without having to be concerned about being flamed, may wish in giving it a try.

Many years ago I wanted to buy a home in Utah. I spoke to LMTU about this and told him I didn't think I'd be able to get a bank loan. He kindly offered to cosign for my home and lend me the money for the down payment. Ever since then I just though he was the Cat's Meow!
The downpayment was paid off that year but the gesture....priceless.

I don't call that supporting him. I call that repaying a debt (even with the high interest he charged).

It's not an exodus, it's just posters joining another Board. I'd make a guess that ~ eh let's say, 85% of the members of Sawatdee are also members of other gay Thailand boards ... and probably always have been.
I agree that Sawatdee is, at the moment, a cesspool of 5 or 6 trolls and their dozens of feeders, and is certainly not a joy to post to, or just to read right about now. Five or six trolls can easily 'take over' a Board simply by flooding it with inane nonsense ... which is what is taking place now.

One theory is that trolls will eventually get bored of posting nonsense and abuse and
