The owner and Admin of the Gay Thailand Message Board (i.e. 'Gay Thailand' ~ Himself) moves on and will be magically spiriting all the posts which now live on his message board to a new place, hosted by one of those 'Meet-me-in-stall-#3-at-8PM' websites and porno parlour: << http://www.gaythailand.com/forums/Gay-T ... t5764.html (http://www.gaythailand.com/forums/Gay-Thailand-Forums-f1/Gay-Thailand-f3/Gay-Thailands-Next-Move-t5764.html) >> Gay Thailand is, apparently, a money loser.

Gaybutton meanwhile, has decided to open his own Message Board (again) where he can ~ shall we say ~ run it under his own rules: << http://www.gaythailand.com/forums/Gay-T ... t5765.html (http://www.gaythailand.com/forums/Gay-Thailand-Forums-f1/Gay-Thailand-f3/And-Gaybuttons-Next-Move-t5765.html) >>
I like the fact that GayButton seems to have chosen to go the no-ads route.

Life goes on in the gay Thailand boardieLand business.

#1. Not to nit-pick, but you put the links in the wrong order. Should be other way around.

#2.
This site and content will be transferred to MaleEscortReview.com - The MALE 4 MALE Escort Review Site

Huh? He's actually going to transfer all content (posts, accounts, e-mail addresses, etc.) over to an escort site? What a dick...

Actually, he says that account info will not be transferred, but he is pretty vague about how this might be guaranteed (although Gay Thailand's Privacy Policy demands that it should not be transferred).

The posts are no huge problem to me - I've only made a few there. My profile contains minimal information and the email (as is the case with all message boards I subscribe to) goes through a proxy and the address is unique to Gay Thailand - I use it for absolutely nothing else, so it can soon be blocked with no harm done.

Anyone who's worried about their email address being transferred should change it for another before the transfer takes place.

What will heygay do now, gaythailand who was his buddy no longer offers protection.

I have got the impression the gaybutton will not be so tolerant.

Fascinating to see the first clash.

Gay Thailand is, apparently, a money loser.

No surprise... that website is flipping terrible. What was he thinking?

The URL Gaythailand is a good asset. It has never been in the hands of anyone competent. Believe you me, the right person can make good use of it and make it profitable.

You would think the URL would be a good asset.. It wasn't cheap to buy..
I think that buying/owning gaythailand websites/forums is akin to buying a boybar.
A sure way of turning a large fortune into a tiny one, especially when mismanaged
and in difficult economic times.. even gaybutton couldn't save it. :happy7:

I'm curious how gaythailand.com has managed to not even show-up in the Google top ten for "gay thailand" http://tinyurl.com/2ewbfxw Unless they had it removed on purpose, but why would they want to do that? It used to be #1, and it should be given the 100% relevance of the domain name to the query.

I wonder if Sticky Rice will be next. I can't remember the last time I visited that site. It just seems to rub me the wrong way at every glance.

It ranks 5 for me.
