Is there somewhere in Bkk or Pattaya where one will find some cute Japanese boys at the clubs or other hang outs

Hmmm... I wouldn't mind finding such a place too.

I don't think many Japanese come to Thailand to work in prostitution. That would be a pretty stupid move on their part.

I don't think the OP was about Japanese prostitutes working the bars, but rather a query where one might find attractive Japanese men amongst the customers, no?

I have fond memories of a Japanese boy in Bangkok. I was staying at The Rose a few years ago and frequenting the swimming pool and male sauna out the back, at various times during the day. This boy was travelling with a small older group of Japanese men and I got the impression that the girlie bars were their evening entertainment, although I think Junior looked but did not touch.

The swimming area was almost always deserted but he was there most of the day relaxing on the shaded bed/chairs, reading a book. I took the chair next to him a few times, he was always very polite and answered when spoken to but I got the message that he would rather be left alone. My repeated suggestions that he should try the sauna were always responded with 'too hot'.

I had given up and retreated to the sauna, but sitting so as to be able to watch the glass window as to who, if anyone, came into the change-room/shower/toilet area. Some time later he came in, I hoped for a sauna but expected just a shower. When I did not hear the water running I opened the door of the sauna to discover that he was using the urinal [against the outer wall of the sauna, just to the right of the door]..a sight to behold. I could not help it but stood and watched, from half a metre away. When he finished it was firm without being hard, so when he tucked it into his brief costumes and as there was no one else about I took the risk and lent over and grabbed it. Getting only oral not physical resistance, I pulled his briefs down and went down on it...his 'not here'...resulted in him being almost dragged into the 'too hot' sauna and with briefs now fully down and being operated on. Coming up for air I changed to a bit of manual stimulation just in time as he fully re-painted the sauna wall.

Saw him at breakfast with his group for breakfast the following morning but unfortunately they were checking out!

Off the actual topic: but Japanese men can be very sweet and very hot.
I had a two-year fling with a young Japanese guy in the late 90's (before I had ever come to Thailand) and frankly, remember it with a big silent smile and secret pleasure whenever I fly back there in my mind: not often, but it's still there.
'Shinji' by name, it was pretty well all about sex ~ he was 23, I was 51 ... it was going nowhere, but the trip was very much worth it. The sex was pretty much out of this world, he being voracious me being willingly intrigued. He was also smart and savvy beyond his age (sometimes I thought he was slightly older than me!) and a really really nice guy . . . he was in fact 'in love' actually.

But the relationship was ultimately doomed by the distance between us: he lived in Vancouver and wouldn't consider living anywhere else (unless it was Tokyo :tard: ), and I 350 miles east, coming to Metropolis only when I could. He ended up with some wrinkled old dude (he was seriously attracted by men older, and apparently, fatter ... which I was not. Not uncommon) who, some time later, managed to help him out with getting a 'Landed Immigrant' (work visa) to Canada, him being on a student visa before that. He was a terrifically sweet guy, very loving, very honest (yes, even about his visa dreams), very funny ... I loved every minute of the two years.
An absolute cracker in the sack, was he.

About three years after we had parted ways (and I had discovered Thailand, and had found Suphot) I was back in Vancouver one day looking for a digital camera in the Future Shop on the corner of Granville and Robson streets.
As I reached to open the big glass doors to a grey and rainy afternoon, passing literally by (at a fast clip, as always) was Shinji, with that smile inducing bow-legged walk so common of Japanese men, and that sexy ass as prominent as ever. He hadn't seen me, and I stepped out of the building and started to follow him ... with the intention of saying "hi, and how you doing?" after three or so years with no contact.
But he was walking away from me very speedily and I had to start running a little to try and catch up. At the first stop lights, it had been green for him, but now ~ poetically ~ turned to red for me ... and I said to myself "oh let it be Dave, to hell with it". I watched him walking away ~ still at speed ~ until he became a speck in the distance. All very Hollywood.
I've never seen him again.

One has to chip away at the rather serious Japanese demeanour first. After that it can be very good sailing indeed.

I came across a group last year, I think, in a club in Soi twilight. I actually posted on this forum about it. A group of Japanese guys came in, threw money about and got up on stage and carried on. It was quite entertaining - foir a while, at least. Japan has a very vibrant gay scene (I was a part of it for 10 years), but it is virtually closed to foreigners. I'll write about it sometime.

Is it closed off to all foreigners or mainly Caucasian foreigners? What about foreign Asians?

I have not yet been turned away from or been made to feel unwelcome at any gay venue in Tokyo, including several bars, a sauna and a few money boy businesses.

Well I guess all the different aspects of the original ? have been addressed. I was asking where any Japanese boys might hang out be they money boys or traveling boys looking for a good time. All word from the venue in Japan to me seems that foreigners do not have a good chance to meet the Japanese boys there since it seems to be blocked ut. It would seem that a fantasy trip to Japan for some fun would not be all that great compared to the same availability in Thailand. Oh well. That's the way it goes sometimes.

I was actually referring to the REAL gay scene in Japan, not the superficial one where some establishments do accept foreigners. There is a totally different scene "behind the scene."

so the 'superficial' scene is in some way a virtual scene, rather than a real one? The idea of two scenes with different demographics I can grasp, but surely both are 'real'?

Something can be superficial but still exist. It has no connection to the virtual world. I think you are being very pedantic here.
I am not talking about fetish bars, BTW. Never been, never want to. As for kaikan 24, no self-respecting Japanese gay would be caught dead in there. Especially the one in Asakusa!
People seem to think that Shinjuku 2-chome is the centre of Japanese gay nightlife. There are heaps of places - Japanese only - in Ueno. They leave anything in Shinjuku for dead. Anything in Bangkok, for that matter. No, they are not gogo bars or host bars - they are full-on sex clubs. I went to a number of sex clubs in paris a few years ago and, although fun, they didn't come even close to the Japanese ones. A lot of gay life also happens in karaoke bars (behind closed doors) and in internet cafes - the one's with private rooms. You could virtually live there - they have shower/toilet facilities andan all you can drink juice bar plus free condoms and snacks.
Sorry, Oops. Kaikan 24s just don't cut it in Japan.
When the Japanese go for something, they REALLY go for it. Not for the faint-hearted! If you don't like getting down and dirty, think yourself lucky that you probably wouldn't be allowed in anyway.

There is PLENTY of gay life in Japan that is open to all. BUT there are places that DO NOT allow foreigners to enter (ALL foreigners), some that only allow foreigners who speak JAPANESE to enter, and some that have age and shape restrictions (ie., "under 35 and in good shape only").

Yeah, I've heard some aspects are ridiculously organised. Like certain bars only cater to very specific types and when you go in the bar staff will try and match you up to someone there.

There are more than enough venues to fill up weeks of fun in Tokyo.

Awesome... Wooooo! Hello Tokyo!

Perhaps it is your age or physical shape that they are finding trouble with?

You know nothing about my age or physical appearance.

Where did I mention that I was old and/or out of shape?

And where in my post did I mention people were "finding trouble" with me???

How about Arty Farty? Do you have any views on that place?

But back to the OP's question on places in Bangkok or Pattaya to find Japanese boys, there used to be a place next to Tawan on Soi Anumanrachadon called Giga Bites that was sort of go-go cum karaoke aimed at Japanese clients with Jap-style Thai boys. Is it still there? I haven't been down to Soi 6/Anuman for a while.

You didn't. That's why I used the word perhaps.

A bit presumptuous.

And where in my post did I mention people were "finding trouble" with me??? Never had a problem ,ever, in japan.

Oops, I'm not criticizing your choice of gay venues as much as I am just stating that there is a much larger, hidden-away-from-gaijin gay scene. Basically, I was just stating a fact. If kaikan 24 rings your bells, who am I to dispute that?

You will find lots of Japanese in the Philippines and a lot who are mixed white or Filipino and mostly speak Japanese at Home. You are right they are quite good in bed and methodical about it as well.

Hehe... yep. It's quite a thing to sleep with a Japanese boy and find he takes the same sort of serious approach to giving a blow job as they do to perfecting a plate of sushi or crafting a sword... lots of pride and methodical alright. I almost worried if I was giving him the same quality of "stimulation".

I wish they would be less methodical about bluring out the genitals in their pornography.

Heh... I've noticed that in some Japanese porn. Why do they do that? The actors go to all that effort, then...

Living In Osaka in 1992-1996 I found that Spartacus (the only real reference help then) had many bars etc available to Japanese but few for foreigners. I was told that there were over 200 gay establishments but only 7 open to white foreigners. I had a work permit so I could go to a sauna in Namba although it was fairly clear that I was unwelcome. Guys would look thru the dark to see what kind of eyes I had (Japanese or not). There were the VDO boxes, which could be accessed (do they still have those?) and through the holes in each cubicle one could have or give a BJ. I stumbled on Bikes, a sauna where a jockstrap had to be worn. Sometimes they would not let me in - Damme Gaijin (no Foreigners!!). There was also Alladin sauna in Shinsaibashi. I wondered what happened to it. This was in the time of the AIDS scare and many Japanese believed that foreigners and AIDS went together. Straight friends told me that there were no gay people in Japan and sex with a Japanese prostitute did not require condoms whereas Asian prostitutes were different!!! Talk about ignorance. I had a dose of pubic lice (a trip to Bali) and trying to get some kind of lotion to be rid of them was exhausting. "Japan does not have lice!" I was given many kinds of shampoo.

That is SO true! I've heard the same thing a million times. And my gay friends always said that only gaijin got aids.

In my opinion, Japanese boys are some of the worst lays in Asia.

There is little passion, little reciprocity: it is usually one person laying there while the other does things to them -- then the roles switch. All very mechanical. If you've watched much Japanese porn, you'll know what I mean.

Oops, please note that i showed admirable restraint! :blackeye:

Beachlover
July 7th, 2010, 21:36
I've only been with two Japanese boys and none had the mechanical effect but were very skillful.

Yeah... I have heard they can be openly prejudice against Ganjin but I think this is less than before.
