View Full Version : Royal Twins V Royal Palace Hotels, Pattaya

2 hotels next door to each other (nearly), same Company, with quite different prices (Royal Twins about 20% dearer).

Any reason why? Any reason to choose one over the other?

Some mixed reviews, with complaints on Agoda site about joiner charges in Royal Twins.

Would be interested in hearing your views.

Am aware of previous discussions on one or the other but not on differences between each.

Thx.

The Royal Twins is the better Hotel, just drop the doorman, for a blind eye, no joiners fee though.

Even though I would not stay in any of them, when you have so much far superior other choices at around 1000 baht a night.

Helpful - thanks.

I guess it depends what your priorties are - for the people I am enquiring for, their priority is to be near Boystown but not necessarily right IN it, for there to be no problem at bringing a boy back, for the accomodation to be clean and tidy, with a budget up to 1500- 2000B per night.

The other option I was considering for them was the Venue IF they were prepared to locate at Jomtien complex. I know they don't want to be halfway between places and getting on and off baht buses or taxis to get anywhere, so at least if they are within the jomtien complex they have other venues plus the beach nearby. Still believe they would rather be near boyztown tho.
