According to the "The Nation"... " The red-shirt leaders were taken to be detained at the Border Patrol Police base in Hua Hin."

I hope that doesn't mean that Hua Hin might attract the attention of demonstrators following their leaders. On another website there is advice to tourist to go to Hua Hin in order to avoid trouble in Bangkok.

Last uprising in 1992 many of those arrested just 'conveniently' disappeared. Mind you that was the Army's doing under the disgraced General Suchinda so perhaps things have changed, but don't hold your breath.
