Yes, itтАЩs still on тАж but with a few changes.
On Thursday 6th May we will be 12 years old and despite the current problems, we will be having a party for all our members and friends.
The event may be a little quieter than our usual birthday party but we want to mark the day anyway. It all depends on how many people turn up, so please make the effort to come to Silom Soi 4 and celebrate with us.

A free buffet and drinks will be available for members from 6.00pm to 9.00pm.

Entertainment from professional artistes plus The BalconyтАЩs own Dancing Waiters will be putting in several appearances.

We look forward to seeing you all on May 6th.

Dear Balcony Member,
With the current political problems in Bangkok we have received a number of enquiries asking if we are still open.



This letter is to inform you that:



1 . We have been open every day for the past week and we intend to stay open every day, if possible.

We will open, as usual, at 5.30pm daily.



2. We will close at late as we are able to.



3.The safety of our staff and customers is paramount during this period of tension and there have been two

nights when we have closed the bar unusually early and quickly. If this is necessary again we ask for your

cooperation in paying your bill and leaving the area as quickly as possible.

It's tonight.

Generally speaking, free buffets are at best, mediocre. Balcony's free buffets are the exception. It always been pretty good.

I'll be there. If anyone want to meet up, say hi, tell me off, hurl an insult or offer a kind word, just ask one of the owners or the waiter named ' V ' to point me out and come up and introduce yourself.

I suppose it's about over by now but here's wishing The Balcony another dozen years. I have good memories of the place and hope business improves for them soon.

I posted a story this morning about my first visit there: it was a pleasant experience - and they weren't even open!

Thank you to everyone who came to our 12th Birthday Party tonight.
Considering the problems that the Silom area has encountered over the past two weeks we were very pleased that so many of our members and regular customers made the effort to get to Silom Soi 4.
It was a great тАЬWelcome BackтАЭ party.
