Wow place very quiet !!!
Not many Farang around at all ,plenty of the usual boys faces and some new cuties all over.
Think the gogo bars hit the worst but Euroboys seems to be doing ok, (all drinks inside for us and boys 99baht)..
Nice selection of boys there should suit most tastes.
Eros Gogo---simple waste of time.
Mic Mac---not bad some nice eye candy.
Happy boys i think going down hill not the usual quality of boys but plenty of .
Good Boys -- same as always lots of young boys willing and able for the CHOK WOW show.

Did you miss the New Marina Inn Pool Bar just opened last month to a lot of fanfare? They said that they were going to go out of their way to have high security to keep out anyone young and good looking so all the old farts could just fade away in peace. Sounds like you may not be ready to fade away just yet?

Quick update as I┬┤m sure your guys are anxious for an update on the middle aged Farang hehe.
Did get to Tom Yung but it was late as i was side tracked by some serious Eye Candy in Uniform Boys .
Quite a few youngish and on the Fem. side for me but Mamasan informed me a lot of boys were OFF so I shall return at a later date
Feeling quite frisky i decided to go back and aquire the cutie from Uniform boys :tongue3: but alas he was just offed too, bad start to my night.

Shortly after Euroboys closes who should walk past but boy number 1 ..farang not show up I said to him ? and he replied yes no good for me .

It's about time that someone actually reports on what's going on there, e.g. what bars are open, the venues, the boys, etc. I've been waiting for the xpats to report this type of information for months. I guess they're lost in la la land.

I just wish they could understand what an "over easy" egg is.. I have tried on several occasions to explain it. They just dont grasp it. Thais seem to like their eggs hard so thats the way the fix them .

Yeah, I've noticed quite a few restaurants can serve excellent farang breakfasts, but are horrible when it comes to lunch & dinner. Nags Head being one of them, and Gossip being another at the forefront of my memory. The breakfasts are good, but go in for a lunch or dinner, and it's generally horrible. The Thai food at both places on the other hand is excellent.

I found in most cases it's best to stick to Thai/Asian food in Thailand unless you're in a 5-star establishment. They just don't do farang good well... so why eat it?

Of course, there are exceptions if you look around but most of the time, it's just 5-star hotels or upmarket restaurants that do good farang meals.

For example, go to any 3-4 star mid-market hotel and the breakfast is sh*te if you eat eggs/bacon/ham etc.... but just fine if you're having noodles or fried rice, which I love. Only the 5-star hotels guarantee a good farang (and Thai) breakfast...

Thai food is so much healthier and lighter (good for the hot climate) too...

For the worst breakfast, try the buffet at Lek Hotel. Both the Thai and Western dishes. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!! :rolling:

Best value has to be at Foodland, 49B/62B.

For the best English breakfast, you will need to go E of Sukhumvit on Soi Nern Plap Wan. Not far E of the railroad, opposite the busy market, there is a small soi next to a 7-Eleven leading into Phuriburi Resort. On that soi there are two competing restaurants they are both very good, but I think the sausages at Chesters are slightly better. :thumbleft:

After two years of living here in the Philippines I have never seen so many Farang out at night as I have seen here now.

I have not set up an average on Planet Romeo but, subjectively people are going here and the dollar had not taken a hit and where beer is 3 for 100 Peso all week and 50 during the weekend the rest of the week 3 for 100 and all have drag shows and dancing boys in between.

If they are suffering there it may be as one Local bar owner here said recently about another bar, "They did it to themselves". One bar across the street with not that much more to give to the gay scene it twice as high ion drinks and when I first came went there often, I now see my self going where every one else going now, to the cheaper place and not only because of the money but also because now all the guys are at the cheaper bar, The elite still go but almost all of the regular guys go and the cheaper bar now has set up a VIP room to counter why the others were going to to the expensive bar, which is to find upper class boys with good families and not looking for anyone to buy them a a drink.

I am treated as much as I treat now here, where in Thailand I can't ever remember the guy paying the bill of course we are comparing apples and oranges, since Thailand, is a pay bar mostly country, SO here at least many are now paying the bill and leaving it to me to pay the tip I can never remember that happening there in Thailand.

Sure there are still the poor boys who are looking for a free night out but that is all they are looking , a free night out and a taxi home. This "down economy" is bring at least twice as many farang as I was seeing when I first came two years ago.

Well I only had three days in Pattaya and I think that was more than enough time.......so lets have a look at a few places I went to.....

Yes the place was pretty quiet Sundee Plaza you could fire a canon and not hit anyone......I think the best thing is that this entire place should be bull dozed down.....

Krazy Dragon the video utube clip looked fantasic....its sad that it dod not live up to that.....first night there 4 boys dancing and about 2 falangs there.....I thought what a joke.....the owner im assuming was sitting in the corner, you ask how do i know he was the owner, he was crying.....i thought maybe a off night so i went back again the next night......this time only 2 boys and they were to busy looking at themselves in the mirror.....and yes the owner was still crying in the corner.....
