time to depart bkk

Once you have checked in at bkk airport, how long does it take to clear immigration and hand baggage checks . Im leaving early evening at 20-30 and hate hanging around waiting to board

Honestly, I don't think you ever know, so best to be early. There's been times when I walked straight through immigration within 3 minutes, and other times where it's taken nearly two hours due to lines.
