justing checking out gaytingtong.com and learned about a new boybar up in Udon Thani..

Lots of guys I have met and gotten to know, came from Udon Thani and nearby provinces..
I have been up there many times over the years to visit boys families and to go over the
Friendship Bridge in nearby Nong Khai, to go to Laos.
Now, there is at least one boybar in Udon Thani.. :hello1:

That's a pity. It was on my list to visit in January. If anyone knows of any gay bars or massage shops in Udon Thani please post info here.

I will be in Udon Thani ( or there abouts) in Jan as well...mostly in BFs hometown, but will stay a night in Udon Thani if there is anything worthwhile to do or see...thanks.

This closure is not surprising as the owner had told me last October he would close down before the end of the year due to lack of customers - he told me that people coming to every place in Isan could find boys through Gayromeo and so did not have to go to the bars any more. Yes, a pity as there was a very nice bunch of local boys every time I had gone there.

There is a small and quiet host bar left which is called City Man Pub. It is located at the beginning of Thanon Adunyadet between the fountain and Thanon Prajak. The boys here are rather on the rough side an you will have to be VERY cautious with your tab as they are famous for selling and charging for drinks you have never ordered. However you could find a gem here as everywhere in Thailand. The bar was still open at the end of October this year.

You could find some street trade along Nong Prajak lake or in the Lak Muang area but I never had time to try, and transportation is difficult at night in Udon if you have to go back to your hotel alone.
