Anyone update the latest on bus travel from the airport to Jomtien? I noticed the location on Level 1 a few weeks ago when we were there for some other business, but stupidly, I neglected to look at scheduales, prices, or even the name of the bus company (is it a Gov't bus?).

Google searches on this are not very current . . . but I just know that some of you guys are. Current that is.
Info from the 'search' showed only 4 buses a day to Jomtien ... another showed buses every 2 hours, but it wasn't clear if that was the same company just adding to it's scheduale.
Some clear and precise information would be very much appreciated. Next week we shall once again journey to Shitsville: My old man ('The Tour Guy') is taking a friend to Suvarnaphumi anyway, so thought we'd hitch a ride and go on to Jomtien by the airport bus, ditching the boyfriend along the way. :rolling:

I regularly use Bell Travel (the one that operates every two hours from BKK airport), and the B200 fare includes a transfer to a van at Pattaya Nua bus terminal that goes directly to your hotel or condo in Pattaya/Jomtien.

It depends on where you want to end up. The airportpattayabus (Roong Reuang Coach Co.) drops you off by the Food Mart in Jomtien. That is much better for getting to South Pattaya than taking Bell to the North Pattaya bus station.

Thanks. That's exactly the one we want.
And thanks to Atri for the URL.

I think Mahjongguy has it right. The bus line he's referring to picks up and drops off from the Foodmart/Jomtien, and last told charges some rediculously low fare like 167 baht.

I'll be crashing at Chateau Dale (about 50 yards from Foodmart) in April-May. If you want to meet a green-eyed boy with a 10" dick just phone me. PM me if you want my mobile number.

BTW...if a skinny ladyboy with brown eyes answers the door, that would be Thep, and if you say anything about a green-eyed boy I'll call you a liar...555.

Cheers...

I don't "want" him, but I wouldn't mind seeing him/it. What bar does he work at? (PM me if you don't want a crowd).
I'll be in Jomtien next Thursday, so get PM'ing. :headbang:

A quick update after taking the bus from the airport to Jomtien ( this is the one I was asking about in the OP: http://airportpattayabus.com/Home_Page.html ).

Probably one of the best, most comfortable buses I've had the pleasure of riding in Thailand.
Huge amount of leg room between seats. I am not that tall or long-legged, but the friend I was travelling with is, and crossing legs was easy, still leaving room without scraping ones knees on the seat ahead. Seats quite plush, easy to recline. Good driver, no craziness, no nodding off, no high speeding.
Price is 180 baht, and the bus will let you off anywhere along Sukhumvit Rd before turning down Theppasit Rd to ending up at the Jomtien terminal.
The bus leaves every 2 hours, and you buy your tickets and catch the bus on the 1st floor between doors 7 & 8.

An excellent service.
