Can anyone give me the benefit of their experience of this venue? What "type" of boy works there? Muscle, slim, twinks? Quality of the massage and "extra service"?

A friend told me about Urban Male and told me I have to go. I went once. It was a weekday around 1800 and there were about 15/20 boys. They do a line up for selection. The manager gave me the price list, also listed on their web site.

The quality (looks) of the boys were in my opinion very good, all types. The manager was nice enough but I did not get into what this one or that does or does not do like I would at Hero. When they're all lined up like that, what do you do ask for hand up on who takes it up the ass?

I picked one and in short order was escorted up a few stories of steps to a nice room with en suit shower. Bigger than Hero, about the size of the Body Club. The boy stripped from the get-go and gave me a shower. He stayed nude and started the massage on a standard but small massage table, not the fit for two that is almost now a standard in most the lady massage joints. Gay venues should take note of this.

He was a real looker and I was happy just looking at him but his massage shills were just so-so. I spoke to him in Thai, I don't think he had any English speaking skills or did not want to speak Thai since I was managing in Thai. He was not talkative and seemed a little distant. The transition to sex was OK, nothing to write home about but far from a dud.

In short, I will return. It's all a crap shoot on your pick of boys in all the venues but this is a nice place, nice rooms, good management, got a full 90 min massage and nice music if you like that environmental stuff, birds chirping, waterfalls and soothing rhythms.

Why don't you people just off a guy from a bar and have him give you a massage and a happy ending? As Trongpai says, it's a crap shoot. Do you want a real massage or just get off? If you want a real massage, go to a real massage place and don't expect sex.

I think the popularity of the massage venues hinges on the expats and residents many of whom have a BF at home or are married and can't or should not take a boy home. One would need to go to a short time room. Many guys hit the massage venues after work and then go home to the wife or BF. Many of us have these don't ask, don't tell relationships and it's a big mistake to bring someone back to the home base, that's just rude unless you really have one of those no holes barred relationships and those are not common.

Second, it's both cost and time efficient. You don't have to pay an off fee, up to 500B in Bangkok, pay for a few drinks, another 500B and then for a short time room, 500B. Your out 1,500 before you got pants down. Add a the top end short time tip, 1,500 and your now out 3000B.

Compare all that to the costs of a massage plus sex at about half the price and a lot less trouble dealing with tip-me mamasans, door touts and smokey bars.

Pattaya, the brothel by the sea, is a different population base and bars and freelance seem more popular.

I think that you are right, and that no holes barred relationships are even less common than no holds barred relationships. Although they sound kind of interesting!

I agree that having a massage can be less bother than going to a go-go bar...paying an off fee...then taking the stranger back to your room. A two hour massage at the right sauna is relaxing, sensual and (for me) feels more secure. I like to go to Hero where there is a good selection of guys...many muscular and butch which is my type.
