Hi guys, I am coming to BKK in january and i wish to stay in a 3-5* hotel on silom or suriwong area.

My question is, do you know any hotels DO NOT require a JOINER FEE regardless whether its gay friendly or not. Also, i do not want to stay in the malaysia hotel, babylon, or the tarntawan (no pool) ... any good ideas guys ?? Does the tawana charge when u book double room?

Kind regards

I was many years a regular customer in the Tawana and i liked my stays. When you stay with boyfriend no problems but if not they charge a fee from the evening. There is a trick >>> when you come with boy walk the stairs up to the buffetrestaurant >> there is nobody looking at he lift. Pool is big enough and they have good lunch and dinnerbuffet. Also liked the breakfast buffet.

A basket of condoms provided in the room.

Makes a change from rose petals scattered on the bed, I suppose.

a BASKET of condoms?

My God, what type of clientele are they trying to attract - russian porn stars?

Do they also provide a BUCKET of KY?

Looking down from the Sofitel... I noticed the Unico has a really nice big pool on its roof top. That could be the place to stay if you're into pools...

I can say, Ballys Suite Silom, Dusit Thani and Sofitel don't charge joiners. Don't know about the rest. Most hotels can be had for pretty low rates at the moment... check Agoda, Zuji, Asiarooms and other sites.
