Howards

Could I have some info on Howards - I am tossing up between Howards and Montys at the moment - will be looking at 2 weeks in Pattaya mid-September. Would like some comment on weather also at that time. Maybe October. Tks

Monty's B&B have larger room and Mr Monty is a friendly guy and very helpfull, I have been there last january, the room was clean and there was a big bathroom. I feel more like at home. The breakfast was good and you can enjoy the swiming pool, not far from there.

I stayed at Howard's 2 times last year (march and june), the rooms were small and the bathrooms were not clean, The staff was a little bit pushy.
The pluses at Howard's are a lift and a large open bar.

About the weather, I have never been in Thailand on september and october, but I think it is rainy season.

So what about the weather - tks for info

"The pluses at Howard's are a lift"......that is a HUGE plus, not even the BT hotels have lifts (I didn't count the Serene). Think I'll give Howard's a try. Some of my gay friends on a tight budget stay at the Paradise Inn around the corner from Howard's. Very basic, but has a lift and small pool.
