I have put both the videosтАЩ in one place so as not to take up to many threads!

One thread is enough, this one closed. Jinks feel free to delete the other thread will give you some more space and take up lesser of your threads.

HaHa! The geriatric remix. Nice job, Mark!

I always like to substitute the word "schlong" for "song" when I sing along with this song.

Too many tattoos and macho faces for me. Looks like the Thai version of the Hells Angels have found their roost.

Nice videos though...just not my taste in flesh.

Hell's Angels? That's quite an exaggeration. I see lots of handsome guys here...I could do without the facial hair on some of them but it's not like they have bushy beards or anything. But for sure if you want a ladyboy this is not the place.

I hope you are still open when I get there in Nov.

No, no, no...that's not what the choice is here, between the macho, harder look and ladyboys.

There is a sweet look with soft, but male features (the early ICS look, so to speak) that I definitely came here for that's harder and harder to find. Why in the world these guys think having that stubby facial hair that looks like a recent hair transplant patient is in any way going to make them more attractive to guys that love smooth, hairless thai bodies I'll never know.

Too many boys have hard features with Indian-like sharp facial angles, turn off facial hair that does nothing for them, bad acne-scarred skin and hairstyles that look like they were cut by their 15 year old sibling on acid.

But that's just my opinion, and I only point it out because the choice is NOT just hard looking guys and ladyboys.

Hey, let me just add that I didn't look at the video until AFTER my last post, as my intent was to make a point that just because you don't care for the more macho, older, hairy thai types doesn't mean you automatically go for the fem type category.

Some of the boys are actually very nice and sweet looking in those videos, but if I'm correct a few of them are actually STAFF, not dancers- I always seem to find the staff cuter than the frontline guys and have offed a few in the past.

My problem with Krazy is that the whole table top thing is annoying and intimidating, with the guys nearby not allowing you to relax and scope out the whole scene, as if you're 'theirs' by virtue of being seated underneath. Totally difficult to just relax and pick one out you might enjoy. I just don't enjoy feeling rude when I constantly ignore the guy in front and look past him to the other offerings. It bores the bejeezus out of me to watch one guy for too long.

But that's me...I'm all for what ever anyone else digs!

Agree with you completely, and have often stated same. These guys are out there...it's like a treasure hunt:-) I've found though that the best place to meet them is NOT in bars, certainly not in go-go's, and especially not at the go-go that is the topic of this thread. Finer things come from finer places.

Thanks for that, dboy. I've thought I was going crazy viewing the inventory out there. Ugly haircuts, horrid facial skin, disgusting patches of chin hair or mustaches that look something off an 80 year old grandma. Not to mention a sort of downmarket, calculating look that tells you that they've 'got it all figured out' how you're going to pretty much get an offer for them to top despite everything they tell you in the clubs. Between the fems and the machos it's a complete turn off, at least for me. Then every day I see great looking guys strolling with their 60-something chaperones at Dong tan or in the malls. I find myself wondering 'where the f*&k ARE those guys!'

Show me the way...or at least PM me :happy7:

Hey, dboy...not sure if I misunderstood you...trolled your older posts on other topics and found that you like 'femme boys'- now, the point of my original comments was that he world at Sunee seems divided by femme and macho- with not much in between in quality.

Are femmes or fems the same thing as ladyboy types to you? I think that the John Hayman look of the 90's and early 00's was a great balance. Guys loving guys, that's all.

I consider femboys to be completely different from katoey (ladyboys). And if you've ever been on Soi 6 (Pattayaland) then you might have noticed that many "straight" guys consider katoey to be another kind of female. And maybe even 'femboy' is the wrong word. I liked your description of 'softer features'.

As for how to find the softer-looking guys, I've had really good luck at Sansuk. On the weekends and on college breaks, some really lovely guys drive down from Bangkok. Get to know one (or many), exchange numbers, and they will introduce you to friends. I do think these guys are getting harder to find, and I blame it on the western "food" that has invaded Asia.

On the professional side, they can be found occasionally in Sunee, like at Wan's Place and Come In bar (hostbars), and if you are very lucky at JimJimmyJames (closed for low season) and Look (recent name change..no idea new name). For some reason the quality of guys at JJJ went downhill last year (new manager maybe?) which might have something to do with why they're not open right now...no idea. Would love to find new places to go. Please post if you run into one.

Have also enjoyed my explorations in Chiang Mai, but I can't really recommend any places there right now except the shopping mall (the one right by the CM airport). The night market area used to be lively but that whole area is in transition at the moment. Other venues are spread out across the city. Had better luck at after-hours house parties than at normal venues.

dboy- at the risk of hijacking this thread with completely unrelated to KD posts (too late!) it's as I thought. Soft featured normal guys with slim nice bodies are not necessarily femme boys, which suggests budding ladyboy-wannabes. I'm always amazed that I tend to find the types I like when they are fresh and new to the scene here, they still have that village sweetness. I can't tell you how many times I've seen those same guys a year or two later and they've been ruined by going what they think is the 'cool' way here. All those ladyboy-run salons must have a laugh getting the boys to pay them a premium to give them chopped up 'style' haircuts a 11 year old with scissors could give them for free. What a racket!

The problem I see is that once the guys get here and fall in with the other more experienced ones they immediately shift into playing all the games designed to milk money. Short times are shortened so they can get back to the clubs for a hopeful second off. They try to hold themselves back so they can still get going later. They know the tricks and the games to avoid a quality experience for the client and don't care about the rep they get, and they know they've done their job for the mamasan the second you off them. That's why there are so many straights out there in the go go bars! They don't care what happens once they leave- in fact, they just do bare minimum, take the low tip if they have to as they have no real romantic issues to care about anyway- they're STRAIGHT! I've pretty much given up on go go bars because of these issues.

Funny you say Chiang Mai. I tried it three years ago and hated it so much I left after only two days. The go go bars are far and few between and I didn't have the patience. I went back recently and lo and behold I figured out its the massage places that are where it's at! I got the perfect, quality experiences I had never really had in Thailand from three places with three guys, whom I offed after trying out at the massage venue. CM massages are different then BKK or Pattaya. Pattaya they just want to rush you through and collect their minimum tip. In CM they really, REALLY get into it if you pick the right one...I think the places up there actually get bi guys from the up country that seek them out for their own satisfaction as well as making money, and it works real well.

I think the key is getting them in non-cynical settings, where they haven't been contaminated by the 'game' yet. There's a new 'Bangkok Massage' right next to Red Boy that has almost an entire line up of fresh young talent with that nice soft boy-next-door look that is impossible to find at the other massages right next door...who continue to employ those pushy, stocky, tired guys that are, frankly, ugly. I think the owners kind of get stuck with certain types and are afraid to bring in new talent that would piss the regular masseuses off. I would even bet that the ugly regulars deliberate intimidate any new nice talent that they view as a threat. That's the way it is here with Thai males...they don't think about the long term effects of short term actions...just look at how they've messed up tourism here, cutting off their noses to spite their faces.

I visited Sanuk for a few months ago for lunch but found the guys there to be in their older 20's and early 30's and I favor the 20-25 age range. Does it get better at night? I'm discreet so I've never been a sauna guy...open to being convinced, though!

dboy- at the risk of hijacking this thread with completely unrelated to KD posts

That hot air balloon lifted off quite awhile ago with you at the helm.

Krazy Dragon is not the same as every other bar in Pattaya. If it doesnтАЩt appeal to you or you arenтАЩt attracted to the boys who work there, why not contribute to a thread discussing the bars you do like or start a new thread entitled тАЬCeaseless Whining/Whingeing as a Life Style.тАЭ

Many of the boys in Thailand follow what they consider current fashions in clothes, hair styles and general grooming. At one time it was long hair. At another time it was wearing their jeans half way down their butts. Recently chin hair and/or a moustache have been the vogue as well as the deplorable western import: shaving of pubic hair. Like young people everywhere, some feel compelled to follow the herd and others do their own thing. They donтАЩt necessarily conduct every aspect of their lives to please sex tourists.

I donтАЩt go to the bars that often, but when I do KD is my first choice. I like Krazy Dragon as it is and judging by its popularity, so do a fair number of others. I hope it remains as it is. Not every boy in the place appeals to me, but IтАЩve never offed a boy from KD that turned out to be a disappointment. The way the boys conduct themselves, their pleasant attitudes, their enthusiasm and their ability to satisfy has always been great. In fact I keep expecting that I тАШm due for a dud but it never seems to happen. Of course, theyтАЩre out to snag a customer and have to do it against stiff in-house competition. In fact most of the competition is demonstrably stiff, which is another feature that appeals to some and not to others.

I can easily see why some people would be intimidated by the boys' enthusiasm. If youтАЩre accustomed to the zombies of Boyztown or the Pattayaland sois, then KD is quite a change.
If, for example, youтАЩre:
(a) a newbie to boy bars or
(b) wearing a pacemaker or
(c) packing an ill-fitting colostomy bag or
(d) plagued by nervous incontinence,

then you might want to give KD a pass. There are plenty of bars suited to your needs. Just put on a babushka and follow the busloads of Russian women tourists.

But accept that some people like Krazy Dragon and its irrepressible boys, many of whom are more masculine and possibly more rough-edged than the dainty & hairless forest elves that beckon elsewhere.

I wasnтАЩt planning to go to any bar soon, but now I feel compelled to visit KD just to make sure the testosterone exuding taxi drivers are still on the job. Vive la diff├йrence.

Mark, donтАЩt be swayed by the bitching and please donтАЩt change KD!

Well, I certainly understand where you're coming from and I DO regret focusing on the negatives, because, after all, the whole point of this forum is to enlighten and encourage what people want...not to bitch about what's being offered. And NO, I would never ask KD to alter their biz model to accommodate me. Was there a desire to go off on the table top thingy? YES. Was it meant in a constructive way? NO. However, I would pose that perhaps readers that might share my insights and proclivities might make better choices themselves, but that's a VERY thin reed to hang on.

I applaud KD and Mark for having a cutting edge operation and am thrilled to know that other patrons enjoy the format. The more the merrier. I'm definitely pining away for a look and style that is passe...but might come back around soon enough. Give me a cute guy with hair falling into his eyes and a non-fem body and you'll never hear from me again.

The beer bars as usual were very busy with at least double the amount of customers of the GoGos...
