“What happened?” It’s a question often asked by gay visitors to Bangkok. How is it that the city regarded as the gayest capital in Asia no longer has a Gay Pride Parade? The Parades in Taipei, Hong Kong and Tokyo, along with Singapore’s Pink Dot Day, all started some years after Bangkok had been hosting its own Parade.
