    Dick's Cafe in Jomtien Complex

Pardon me if this was covered before on the forum, but it was a pleasant surprise for me this afternoon: Dick's Cafe in Jomtien Complex has doubled the size of its outdoor patio by acquiring (at least the first floor of) the adjoining shop house.

They are keeping the outdoor terrace across the street, and the indoor area of the recently acquired shop house is going to be a storage area.

The difference is quite significant. I never really thought it was claustrophobic before, but compared to now, it was!

Apparently the powers that be on this forum were not amused with my thread title, as it was neutered into "Dick's Cafe in Jomtien Complex". Bah humbug. :-)

I second cnx4shan. Free Guy remains a milestone with good looking workers.

    Dick's Cafe, Jomtien Complex

Dick's cafe at either location (BKK or Jomtien) is a nice spot to sit and watch the scenery go by. The one in Jomtien complex (on the right side of this picture) is often graced with a gentle breeze in the evening that makes it quite enjoyable.

I usually prefer to sit on the raised patio across the soi from the actual restaurant because the view's better. It looks as though perhaps quiet1 and I may have been there the same day, by his post date.

I wouldn't call it anywhere near the best food I've had in Thailand (Thai or Western) but in my experience it's always been appetizing and dependably "safe". I'm sure if you asked for it to be spicier they'd be able to do that, too.

The show at the Jomtien location is the bunch circulating around Festival.
