A reply to the recent posting about Memories flyer and its reopening...

The "4th Annual All Gay Forums Meet and Greet and Plumbing Supplies Show" will be held this year at Corner Bar sponsored, as ever, by one of the finest people I know, namely me.

Date and time are yet to be determined, but around December 1 and the Pattaya Gay Festival is keeping with tradition.

I am sorry as well that old Memories has closed and I think that Oud, the former owner, as demented and as compulsive in straightening things up as he is, will shortly find a new way to spread his own inimitable brand of charm.

I think that Ralph and Jack, who were not owners of the bar but constant guests, were getting a little weary recently and I have to commend them for supporting Oud and the cafe/bar as they did.

They all deserve a rest.

Oud once said one of the truest things I've ever heard in Thailand as he was touting prospective clients as they passed in the soi.

He yelled out to one farang as he walked on by...

"Hello, mister. I like you but I love your wallet."

oh gosh - that shall be the forth one in a row i will miss...

oh well i just have to make my own little party when i next see Rainwalker - unless he see's me first!?

It will be great to see all of the old friends and fellow travelers. The "Corner Bar" is a great choice, but "Memories" with Oud, Jack and Ralph will be sadly missed. Thank you in advance, Rainwalker, for your kindness and generosity. We promise not to the first arrivals, drinking like fish, and eating everything in sight...and then running out of the bar the minute your hospitality and the free drinks end(<))).

I will be there in december! cant wait!
