Great that SGT is back!

I thought I was falling into some sort of depression when I realised that this site was going off for good. It sure is nice to see this site back and one never fully realise what you gonna miss when its up and running. I am not one of those who post regularly but I do log in nearly everyday to read what's going on and always enjoy a good humour at the occasional bickering among the posters. So, I am sure I am not the only one who misses Sawatdee Gay Thailand. Welcome back once again.

Mostly the discussions here are about barboys and go-go clubs, something I'm not familiar with. However I still find it good fun to visit this board.

Well Sjaak, that's a mouthful, but I guess all the boys say that to you! Just because most of the discussions are about barboys and go-go clubs, with which you are not familiar, doesn't mean that threads on other topics are not welcome. Actually the posts that are about people's personal experiences and their engaging with Thailand are some of the most interesting. Trust me, I open my heart occasionally, expecting to be flamed, and have been warmed by the generosity of the responses.

Smiles may we take that literally? Is Alzheimer's what befell Spike? It is a terrifying illness, leaving much shock and devastation in it's path.

If that was just a clever remark then ok, what fools we have been, a simple little forgetfulness, I am delighted Spike is not in prison, has not been killed in road rage or left like road kill, that he has had no major traumas of any sort and he is back with us as our ubber tolerant and sensible moderator.

Same-same with me. I've lived in Thailand six years now, the last 1.5 of them in Jomtien, but you can count on one hand (the one that's not busy) the number of times I've gone to go-go bars by myself, and maybe another 3 or 4 times per year to take visiting tourist to see "the sights". BUT... that has not stopped me from posting on many other topics. I should be hitting 500 posts pretty soon. And, I've only received one nasty-gram in my personal inbox the whole time! (And, several helpful/interesting private messages in my personal inbox.)

So, jump in, the water's fine!

Smiles, I just thought, well you know what with the average age of posters here, well, in my own little respectful way, I was concerned that perhaps Alzheimer's was indeed the real cause of Spikes loosing control of his cheque signing finger.

Besides I know quite alot about Alzheimer's, as my own dearest and lost arri├иre-grand-p├иre, is suffering badly from it, though if he is truly suffering, as he motors to town on the lawn-mower dressed only in his skants, I realy can't say.
