Day 1 of Trip to Phetchaburi and Hua Hin
One of the most popular seaside resorts for people from Bangkok is in Hua Hin. Unlike Pattaya, it’s neighbour on the other side of the Gulf of Thailand, Hua Hin is more laid back and has less of a nightlife. So, it can be seen to be more family friendly. This is partly due to the presence in the past of the King and other members of the royal family. Unfortunately, as he hasn’t lived here for a while, the nature and character of Hua Hin has started to deteriorate. Hopefully local authorities can put a stop to that slide before it becomes a carbon copy of Pattaya.
